Mrs. MacVicar Dies at Age of 87
In failing health since she was struck by an automobile two years ago, Mrs. Mary A. MacVicar, 87, resident of the West End for many years, died at 8 o’clock this morning at her home. Her death was ascribed to natural causes, rather than injuries suffered in the accident.
Mrs. MacVicar was born May 20, 1848, in Buffalo, and came to Syracuse 45 years ago, living in the West End during most of her life in this city. She had been an active member of West Genesee Methodist Episcopal Church for many years.
Surviving are two sons, Charles A. MacVicar and Frank MacVicar, and a daughter, Mrs. Fred Schoeberlien.
