Mrs. Lawrence Dies;
Funeral Set Tuesday
Mrs. Lillian Lawrence, 73, of Ruff Street died Sunday morning in Henry County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 PM at Ridgeway Morticians with burial in Birds Creek Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.
A native of Calloway County, Ky., she was born July 27, 1897, the daughter of the late Charlie and Susan Hughes Joyce. Her first husband, Charlie Conway, died in 1950. She later married Quitman Lawrence, who preceded her in death July 4, 1969.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Lindsay of Cottage Grove, Mrs. Beulah Lindsey of Clarksville, and Mrs. Venie Dodson of Nashville; a son, Johnnie Conway of Paris; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Beard of Benton, 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
