MARJORIE ELIZABETH BAKER SOUTH HERO - Marjorie Elizabeth Baker, 86, died Thursday morning, Sept. 29, 2005, in the Haven Health Care in St. Albans.

Marjorie was born on June 12, 1919, in South Hero, the daughter of George and Elizabeth ( LaPointe ) Blow.

On Sept. 9, 1944, she married Russell Baker. Russell predeceased her in 1989.

Marjorie worked a variety of jobs, including Supertemp in South Hero, as a cook at the Folsom School, at Fow-ler's IGA, and sorted apples of Tressler's. She also enjoyed being a volunteer for the Foster Grandparents Program.

She is survived by her children, Marjorie Bushway of South Hero, Faye Baker of Milton, Paula Mott and her husband Frank of Hinesburg, and Russell Baker Jr. and his friend Marlene Sorrell of Milton; by her grandchildren Jodi Hunter, Casey Bushway, Anthony Bushway II, Russell Baker III, and Terry Baker; her great grandsons Alec and Ryan; her brother Armand Blow of Florida, and sister Marion Bushway of New York and by several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers Paul, Ivan, George and Edwin; and her sister Katherine Baker.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the South Hero Cemetery.

Arrangements are by the Minor Funeral Home in Milton.
