Charles J Sanderson, 84, died last week Thursday at his home following a long illness. He was born Sept 4, 1866, in this town, son of the late William and Eliza (Harris) Sanderson.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Mary Marcell Sanderson; three daughters, Mrs Mary Ballentine, Mrs Van Everest and Mrs Raymond Merritt, all of this town; two sons, William of Milton and Michael of Essex; one sister Mrs Minnie McKenzie of St Albans; 20 grandchildren, 29 great grand children and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Sunday Afternoon at 2:30 in the United Church with Rev Paul E Barnes officiating.
The bears were: Raymond, Orlow and Floyd Sanderson, FRank Towne, Merrill Rugg and William Kingsbury.
Interment was in the family plot in Milton Village Cemetery.
