NATIVE OF COUNTY DIES IN GRANVILLE
Isaac Newton Bourne, 66, prominent resident of Monroe county, died at his home north of Granville at 3 o'clock, Monday morning, following a week's illness. A son of the late J. J. Bourne, he was born on a farm north of Palmyra, December 25, 1872. For many years he has been a well-known farmer near Granville. He was married to Miss Alma Hanger, June 1, 1905.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jewell Harrison, Mrs. Margaret Baldwin, and Mrs. Frances Jones; two grandchildren; one brother, Emmett Bourne and one sister, Mrs. Amelia Wright. One brother, Marcus Bourne, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at Shelbina Methodist church, Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. H. V. Eisenberg officiating. Burial was in Shelbina. He was a member of the Methodist church.
