Mrs. Janie Marie Simmons, age 63 of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 at Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Simmons is survived by her son, Shawn Simmons; brother, Leon (Tiny) McClure; nieces and nephews, Steve, Cindy, Chase, Tyler, and Elizabeth; several great nieces and nephews; and special lifetime friends, Doris, Betty, Wanda, and Betsy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy; and parents, Howard & Daisy “Mama Dink” McClure.
