Her parents were William Wakely and Rhoda Spicer. She married Harry William Ford on September 1, 1933, at the Highland Park Presbyterian Church. They were married for forty years until Harry’s death in 1973. Geraldine married Richard H. Dancy, Sr. in 1978. Richard preceded her in death.
