Phillip B. Wakefield, age 61 of Tuscumbia, AL, died at his home Friday, May 27, 2016. His graveside service will be Wednesday at 5 p.m. in Allsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery with J. B. Burns officiating.
Mr. Wakefield was born December 19, 1954 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee to James H. Wakefield and Jean Bishop Wakefield. He was preceded in death by his parents, aunt, Rebecca Bishop McWilliams and uncle, Olen Bishop.
He is survived by his aunt, Ruth Bishop Johnston of Hartselle and uncle, Hubert E. “Buddy” Bishop of Tuscumbia and several cousins.
The family expresses great appreciation to his close neighbor Barry Winsted.
