Paul "Jack" E. Boas, Sr., 70, of Lancaster, entered into rest on Saturday, May 28, 2016 in the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Lebanon after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born June 3, 1945 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Joseph C., Sr. and Mabel M. (Reikard) Boas.

Jack was a proud Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army 9th Infantry Division.

He had last worked as a Forest Ranger in Seward, Alaska.

Jack was of the Catholic faith.

He was a member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the AMVETS.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his sisters: Mary A. Metzger and Shirley A. Imhoff; his brothers: Carl "Butch" F. Boas, Joseph C. Boas, Jr., Charles E. Boas, and Richard W. Boas.

He was the husband of Dawn E. (Morrow) Boas, whom he married on October 13, 2006; his daughters: Amber E. Falck and Adriane E. Bracken; his sons: Paul E. Boas, Jr. and Cody B. Boas; his granddaughters: Venessa and Leina; his grandsons: Gage, Gavin, and Aubrie; his special niece: Colleen S. Griest - whom adopted his granddaughter; his brothers: Patrick W. Boas and Gerald T. Boas, married to Dorothy; his extended family; and, his friends.

Jack's Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held at AMVETS Post #19, 715 Fairview Avenue, Lancaster on Saturday, June 04, 2016 between 02:00 - 06:00 PM.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
