J.W. FINNEY IS DEAD; LAST RITES PLANNED MONDAY
J. Woodland Finney, 56, son of the late Rev. Mr. and Mrs. L.E. Finney, prominent among Central Texas Baptists, died at his home in Louisville, Ky., Friday, friends here learned last night.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilkirson-Hatch Chapel here at 4 p.m. Monday, with Rev. Edward E. Laux of McGregor officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Survivors include his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Kenneth McCraw of Pittsburg, Texas, Mrs. Dorothy Harris of Dallas, Mrs. Roy Holcomb of Dallas, and Miss Vickey Finney of Louisville; one brother, D.J. Finney of Helena, Okla; four sisters, Mrs. T.G. Edawrds of Mercedes, Mrs. C.W. Helms of San Antonio, Mrs. W.L. Wilkinson of Irving, and Mrs. Troy Ogilvie of Dallas.
