May 28th 2016 Larry Bauer formerly of Anderson, Indiana, Bradenton, Florida, living in Carmel, Indiana this past year crossed over to join his heavenly family.

Larry was born at home to Fred and Etta Marie Small Bauer Hamilton County Indiana Jan 10 1920 along with a twin brother Harry.

The tiny babies slept in dresser drawer near the stove.

Larry graduated Carmel High School and belonged to the Future Farmers of America. He remained true to farming even after he became employed by General Motors. He continued to help his father farm and always had a large garden enough to preserve and can.

His first marriage to Bonnie Wire ended in divorce. From this union were four children. His second marriage was to Augusta (Dottie) Cox 1970-1992. Widowed in 1992 Larry falls in love and marries for the third and final time to Imogene Dull in 1996 until her death in 2003.

He retired from Delco Remy Anderson, Indiana

He played golf and Lawn Bowling He bowled on Leagues in Anderson and Bradenton until recently. He traveled to Germany and Europe and several times to Hawaii with his wife
Larry belonged to the Moose Lodge, for fifty years in Indiana and Florida. He was Active in Boy Scout Troop 240 at Bethany In Anderson from 1982-1996. Troop 240 honored him with naming a patch that is called the Larry Bauer award. Requirements included: Sew on rank patch, Make a scout stave, Make a Dove Tail name stake , sleep 2 nights under the stars, sleep one night in a shelter you made, cook one utensil less meal, back pack five miles, start a fire using friction, teach another scout a scout skill, and earn the Polar Bear patch. He spent many years with troop 10 in Bradenton, Florida until his departure in 2015. He mentored many scouts to earn their Eagle badges. He attended Boy Scout Camp and took journeys with them to Canada. Both Dot and Imogene supported him in his scouting endeavors sometimes beyond their limits.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his previous wives, his brothers Harold, Thorrill, Laverne, and twin Harry; his sister- in- laws Dorothy, Joyce, and Mary Lou Bauer; sons-in-law, Gary Daunoras, David Lewellen, Dan Arnold, and Larry Carmack.

He is survived by his sister Avanelle Hodson and sister-in-law Betty Bauer.

His children Deborah Carmack, Illinois, ByVonda (Frank) Thomas, Anderson, Mary Arnold , Indianapolis Eric (Ramona) Bauer, Anderson. Their children and grandchildren, also his favorite adopted son Michael Richey, Pendleton. His step children Sandy Boyer, James W. (Barbara)Dull, Harold W. (Connie)Dull, Cindy(John) Gardner and Kenneth L. (Karen)Dull. Multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Also surviving Larry is longtime friend Evelyn Hight, Bradenton, Florida and a multiplicity of friends from Golf Lake Estates, Bradenton Florida.
