Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Doctors Hospital, Mr. Harold Arthur Deas, husband of 49 years to the late Frances Deas.

Mr. Deas is the son of the late Allen Deas and the late Thelma Williams, a native of Barnwell, SC. he grew up in Augusta and lived in North Augusta for the last 40 years. He was a graduate of Richmond Academy. Mr. Deas served in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII was stationed in Warner Robbins. He was a Radiologic Technologist at the Medical College of Georgia for over 35 years. Mr. Deas was a member of the St. James United Methodist Church.

Family members include his son: Art Deas and wife Tammy; sister-in-law: Isabelle Moxley; brother-in-law: Jack Dixon; grandchildren Daniel, Taylor, Kelly and Heather Deas and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. in the mausoleum at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Thurmond Norville officiating.
