Formerly of Barnhart, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016, in Bonne Terre, Missouri. He was born November 3, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Gladys Emily (nee Hearst) and Millard F. Baird Sr.
He is survived by daughters Linnia Mae (Dennis) Kobert of Bonne Terre and Connie Marie (Mike) Bradford of Hillsboro, Missouri; grandchildren Cassie Kobert, Christina (Ronnie Lewis) Bourbon, Gidgett (Randy) Terry, Amanda (Douglas Carver) Patterson, Michelle (Aaron) Barciszewski, and Lisa (Jason) Stacy; great-grandchildren Ashlyn Kozloski, Mackenzie Bourbon, Mackylie Bourbon, Dominick Terry, Abigail Terry, Dawson Terry, Reagan Terry, Mikalyn Barciszewski, Mikell Patterson, Madison Patterson, ReAnna, Hollie, Michael (Stacey) Gilbert, Matt Gilbert, and Mark Gilbert; and great-great-grandchildren Camile Gilbert, Jacob Gilbert, and Asher.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister Mary E. (the late Henry S.) Ruch and granddaughter Stacey Renee Kobert.
He was a retired punch press operator for Baldor Electric in Fenton, Missouri, a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War, and a member of VFW #3777 in Festus, Missouri.
