Services Will Be Held Monday Morning
Charles Henry Curtis, 83, of Sabina, died of complications at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Elmeda Barbar (Barber), in Columbus, Friday at 3 A. M. He had been ill two months.
The son of Thomas and Martha Lynch Curtis he was born in Clinton County, July 26, 1860 (1861).
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Barbar (Barber), at whose home he died, and Mrs. William Moore, of Columbus; Mrs. Delbert Sheeley (Sheley), Sabina, and Miss Barbara Curtis; one son, Harry, Portsmouth; a brother, Thomas; one sister, Mrs. Allie Lynch, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services for Charles H. Curtis, who died Friday, were held at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, Monday afternoon.
Rev. F. H. Smith read the Scripture and memoir, offered prayer and delivered the sermon. Walter Shoop presided at the organ.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Moore, Seaman Robert Curtis, "Eddie" Barbar, Ercil Curtis, Ernest Wilson, and Ralph Wilson.
Interment was in the Sabina cemetery.

Elmeda Curtis, daughter b; April 6, 1907 Sabina, Clinton County, Ohio, was married to Burch R Hussey, September 26, 1928 Franklin County, Ohio, after his death she married Edward Jay Barber, and she died February 9, 1994 in Kearney, Antrim County, Michigan
