Fred August Krause was one of 11 children, and the eldest son, of Frederick Martin Krause & Lillian Belle Reamer. He married Pansy LaVaughn on 2nd June, 1914 in Niagara Falls, NY. By 1930 they were divorced and Fred was living in Detroit, MI with his sister, Minnie Louise Krause, and her husband and son, Charles and Fred May (according to the 1930 US Census). Later in 1930, Fred married Ada Verena Pew, know within the Krause family as "Rene". Together Fred and Rene had one son, Fred M Krause, born in 1934.
