Travis Eugene Massey, 56, of Granbury passed away peacefully at his home on April 19, 2016. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Stonewater Church. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2016, at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Travis was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, on October 2, 1959. He grew up in Granbury and graduated from Granbury High School in 1978. He is remembered as a hard-working man who would fully invest himself into his responsibilities. Though his work took him all over the world, Granbury was always home to him. His family was very important to him, and he loved helping others. Those who knew Travis could see at work in him the words of Jesus from Matthew 5:40-42.
Travis was preceded in death by his father, Byron Massey, and his three brothers, Curtis, Larry Jo and Todd.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Massey; son, Brian Massey; daughter, Brandis Tate; mother, JoAnn Massey; sister, Terri Kindle; aunt, Lyndel Campbell; uncles, Dale Massey, Larry Williams and Rodney Williams; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
