Lanora E. Chapman, 72, a resident of Okmulgee since 1943, died Oct. 5, 1999 in Okmulgee. She was born Feb, 4, 1927 in Haskell, Okla.

She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Chapman, and one grandson.

Survivors include one son, Frank Chapman of Okmulgee; four daughters, Marie Brown of Poteau, Mary Plunkett of St. Louis, Mo., Susie Mixer of Springfield, Mo., and Betty Milligan of Okmulgee; one sister, Lillie Bennett of Tulsa; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 8 in the Chapel of Kelley Funeral Home. Rev. Lawrence Matlock, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Beggs Cemetery under direction of the Kelley Funeral Home.
