"Ralph Alley, 87, retired painter and paper hanger, died Sunday morning at Livingston Manor.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the chapel of the Norman Funeral Home with Dr. Clinton Galatas officiating. Burial will be in the Monroe Cemetery at Ludlow.
Mr. Alley was born June 28, 1889, son of James Alley and Sarah Jane Barnes. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and of Masonic Lodge No. 539. He made his home at 75 Walnut before moving to the Manor.
Survivors include a son, Dale Alley of Kansas City; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Williams of Riverton, Wyo.; a brother, Carl Alley of Bosworth; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, July 12, 1976
