Sherrill ( Bill ) Seaton, age 86, passed away May 27, 2016.
He was born in Maryville TN, and was a graduate of Everett High School. He served in the US Army and Army Reserve and later worked for the Veterans Administration. He retired from the US Postal Service. He enjoyed reading and loved to write songs to play on his guitar. He is a member Vestal Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Jennie Seaton; siblings Ellen, Blanche, Pearl, Gene, Howard, Ray and Stanley.
He is survived by wife Winella Seaton; children Debra Ellen, Scarlett and Eric; grandchildren James, Natalie, Sarah, Laura and Logan; great grandchildren Lyla, Lincoln, Lorelai and Brody.
Graveside and interment service will be Friday June 3, 2016 at TN Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Gov. John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN at 11:30 AM. The family will receive friends Thursday June 2, 2016 from 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM at Miller Funeral Home, 915 W. Broadway Ave. Maryville 37801.
