Alice Pearl Blackburn, 80, passed away on July 27, 1999, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Pearl was born on January 11, 1919, to Heber John and Eleanor Jane Shepard Blackburn in Duchesne, Utah. She was very much loved by all her family.Pearl went to work for the Pullman Company in 1942 and continued to work there until the war was over in 1945. In 1946, she started working for Mountain Bell Telephone Company and retired in January of 1983.


Some of Pearl's hobbies included knitting and crocheting. She made many beautiful items. She loved going on picnics and outings with family and friends.

Survived by sister-in-law, Mary Blackburn, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 31, 1999 at 2 p.m., at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary (2350 East 1300 South). Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the mortuary, and one hour prior to services.
