Joe served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He married Thelma Cunningham, and she preceded him in death April 24, 2007.
Joe was a dispatcher for National Cash Register for 15 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of North East United Church of Christ and VFW Post #7119, Fort Harrison.
Joe is survived by his children, Candi Freeman (Bob), Joey R. Alderson (Terri), Kelly Hanzen (Walt), Kevin J. Alderson, and; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
