EVA VERL JORDAN Eva Verl Jordan, 90, of Carriere, formerly of Ellisville, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at Shady Oaks Personal Care Home in Carriere. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, at Jones Funeral Home in Ellisville, with burial in Ellisville Cemetery. The Rev. Ronald Jordan officiated. She was a homemaker and member of Tula Rosa Methodist Church in Ellisville. She was a member of the DAR, Garden Club, Rug Hookers, and the Iris Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. C. Cook Anderson and Appie Rainey Anderson; husband, Herman J. Jordan; six brothers; and one sister. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Herman Larry Jordan and Deborah Jordan of Carriere; one brother, Glenward Anderson of Yazoo City; grandchildren, Robert, Scott, Kevin and Ross Jordan. Nephews served as pallbearers. Jones Funeral Home in Ellisville was in charge of arrangements.
