Son of Earnest Franklin Mcpherson and Addie Estelle Bryant Mcpherson. Brother of George Everett and Ernest Neil Mcpherson.


Mr. Mcpherson married Mackie Belle Robertson Mcpherson April 15,1950 in Tupelo. He was a Christian, a believer in Jesus Christ and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a former Giddeon and an ordained deacon.
During World War II he volunteered at age 17 for the US Marine Corp and served at Pearl Harbor. After his discharge, he attended Keegan's School of broadcasting, Memphis,TN , announcer-engineer at radio stations in the area. He was the owner of Mac's TV and Appliance in West Point.
Later he became a rural letter carrier serving the West Point postal service until his retirement in 1992.
