Salem - Born in Portland, Oregon January 8, 1945 to Lewis Duncan Clark and Anne Folger Dean Clark.

Died in Salem, Oregon January 30, 2016.

Survivors include mother; brothers Duncan Clark (Robin), Fred Jeter (Anna); sisters Phoebe Swank (Chuck), Nancy Quigley (Norman), and Barbara Tilson.

Preceded in death by her father, stepfather (Fred P. Jeter), and sisters Susan and Melinda.

Polly graduated from South Salem High School and Eastern Oregon State College with majors in education and music.

Polly was a happy, helpful child who enjoyed music, arts, scouting, outdoors and cleaning fish with her father.

After graduating she taught children's music and elementary education and worked a variety of other professions. Polly was a 4th generation traditional rug hooker and teacher. She sold rugs throughout the US. This ART FORM HAS BEEN A SIX-GENERATION love among the women in her family.

Our special thank you to OHSU for being able to extend her life five years. Also, to Willamette Valley Hospice for their tender care of Polly and her family. Contributions in Polly's name to either organizations would be appreciated.

A celebration of her life will take place this summer.
