Country-Western Musician and Songwriter. Over the years she was associated with Hank Williams (she wrote his song "Be Careful of Stones That You Throw"), Stuart Hamblen, Charles Mitchell, Roy Acuff, Ernest Tubbs, Jimmie Davis (later governor of Louisiana), the Carter family, Jimmie Wakely, Slim Whitman, the Wilburn Brothers and Dion. For many years she performed with Tex Ritter's Country and Western Orchestra and wrote the song that he sang named "You Will Have to Pay." She sang "I Dreamed of an Old Love Affair" with Jimmy Davis and wrote "If It's Wrong to Love You" with Charles Mitchell and it was recorded by Jimmy Dean, Willie Nelson, and Hank Snow and Anita Clark.
