Letha was born January 10, 1935, in Davisburg, KY. , to H.L. and Belle Lee Miracle. She worked as a deputy clerk in the Bell County Court Clerk’s office for 12 years. She and her husband Cecil Gambrel owned and operated the Davisburg Market for many years before retiring in 1995.
She was preceded in death by her parents H.L. and Belle Lee Miracle, sister Jeanette Miracle Good, and Brother James Alva Miracle.
Letha is survived by her husband, Cecil Gambrel Davisburg, KY. Daughter; Glenda Gambrel, Davisburg, KY. Sons; Gary Gambrel Middlesboro, KY., Terry Gambrel, Lafollette Tn., Richard Gambrel, Middlesboro, KY., and Timothy Good, Davisburg, KY., Daughter’s in-law Marie Gambrel, Middlesboro, KY. And Tammy Gambrel, Lafollette, TN. Grandchildren Colin (April) Gambrel, Davisburg, KY., Amy Gambrel, Bowling Green, KY., Floyd Gates Gambrel, Lexington, KY., Lauren (Dan) Miller Beaufort, SC., and Rebecca Faith (Red) Mason, Lafollette, Tn. Brothers Robert Leon (Jan) Miracle, Pineville, Ky., and Loran Lee Miracle, Lima OH., 3 Great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Special friends and care givers; Dorothy Partin Jackson, Sue Murray, Mabel Webb and the entire Hospice of the Bluegrass Mountain Heritage Staff.
Funeral Services will be Saturday morning 11:00am at the Creech Funeral Home Middlesboro, KY., Rev. Kelly Partin Jr., officiating. Burial will follow at the Miracle Family Cemetery located in Davisburg, with grandsons and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Friday evening 6-8pm at Creech Funeral Home Middlesboro, KY.
