When They moved the cemetery a short distance South of Oxford they moved many of the people that had been buried in the old cemetery. Mary Janes grave was not moved.∼Mary Jane Cooper was the first wife of Vinson Jones Wroten Cooper. She was buried in the original Oxford city cemetery. This cemetery was located on the North east side of Oxford. It was later moved to the site of the current cemetery located a short distance to the south of the town. Many of those buried in the old cemetery were moved to the current cemetery. Mary was not moved. Her headstone in the old cemetery
