MRS. ADA HEWITT, 71, DIES AT HOME OF GRANDDAUGHTER

Mrs. Ada M. Hewitt, 71, widow of Smiley J. Hewitt, died at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Lawrence Skinner last Friday morning after an illness of several months.

Mrs. Hewitt was born in the town of LeRay May 17, 1867, a daughter of Charles and Marion Zimmerman Cole, and had been a resident of Pulaski for 33 years. She was an active member of the Congregational church, Rising Sun Rebekah Lodge, and J. B. Butler W.R.C. of this village. Her husband, a Pulaski business man, died fifteen years ago.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Earl J. Hollis of Pulaski, and Mrs. Letty Peo of Florida; three granddaughters, Mrs. Lawrence Skinner and Mrs. James Sanderson of Pulaski and Mrs. A. J. Fairburn of Brooklyn; and four great grandchildren, Verdta, Marion, Shirley and Chas. Skinner of Pulaski.

The funeral was private at the Skinner home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon with the Rev. R. Norris Wilson, pastor of the Congregational church officiating, Burial in Pulaski cemetery.
