Mrs. Taylor, who was born in Salado, Texas on November 5, 1862, was a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 16 at 2 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Grapeland with the Rev. W.E. Vaughn, Jr. officiating. Grandsons served as pallbearers and burial was in the Parker Cemetery, near Grapeland.
Members of her family who remain are: two sons, Pat Taylor of Grapeland, and B.B. Taylor of Huntsville; three daughters, Mrs. Mattie Lopez of Houston, Mrs. Nellie Ray of Grapeland, and Mrs. Nora Shelton of San Angelo, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Lou Maddux of Oakwood; 18 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Hassell and Foster.
