Juanita Ann Briggs, 72, passed away Monday, October 23, 2006 in Ponca City, OK. She was born March 3, 1934 in Ada, Missouri.

Juanita attended schools in Ada, she then married Carl Fleetwood. Carl preceded her in death. They had one son Jerry and he passed away in 1976. She and Melvin Cotham were married for over twenty years. Juanita then married Bobbie Briggs on August 25, 1980, in Pawnee County, Oklahoma. They have lived in Ponca City for a number of years.

Juanita loved making quilts and garage sales, and was a fantastic manager and bargain hunter. She loved to play bingo. Due to Bobbbie's health, Deena and Dan Jacobson took her regularly to play bingo. Juanita loved being with people, and loved to cook.

She is survived by her husband, Bobbie, of the home in Ponca City, Lois, a very close sister in-law, granddaughter, Cara Dawn. A questionable daughter or sister, Vicki and husband Mike Gorzik of Winfield, Kansas and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl Fleetwood, and a son, Jerry Fleetwood.

Funeral graveside service will be Wednesday, October 25, 2006, 2:00 P.M. at Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.
