Doris Matthews DeWitt, 84, of Scranton, SC passed away at her residence on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Mrs. DeWitt was born November 27, 1931 in Scranton, SC, the daughter of the late Bonzo and Lula Swann Matthews. She attended Camp Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church. Doris had worked for Baxter and Piggly Wiggly before retiring.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Beal DeWitt; two sons, Myron and Charles Phillip DeWitt; and her parents, Bonzo and Lula Matthews.
