ANOTHER IS SUMMONED.
Mrs. Levi Wentz Died Last Night at 10:00 After a Long Illness.
Mrs. Levi Wentz, who has been lying very low at Mrs. W. F. Garrett's boarding house for the past three weeks with a complication of liver and kidney troubles resulting from typhoid fever, died last night at 10:30 o'clock. Mrs. Wentz had a severe attack of typhoid fever last September and has never been well since. The family live six miles east of town near Kirkwood and Mrs. Wentz had been brought to town in order to be nearer to the doctor. Her sister, Mrs. Hunt, of Grand Island, Neb., was sent for some time ago and has been with her until death came.
Mrs. Wentz leaves a husband and six children, four boys and two girls, between the ages of 5 and 14 years. At the time of her death she was 38 years old. She was a good woman, a consistent member of the Baptist church and very patient during her sickness. The body will remain at Mrs. Garrett's until tomorrow at 10:00 a. m. when short prayer services will be held in the room conducted by Rev. E. C. Brooks, after which the remains will be taken to Mt. Ararat church, east of town, and the funeral will be preached by the pastor. Interment will then be made in the cemetery near the church.
