Mangham Green, Local Jeweler, Dies at Home
Funeral Services To Be Held Tuesday Afternoon

Mangham Green, 51, well known local jeweler, died at his home 619 North Jackson Avenue at 8:40 o'clock this morning from a heart attack following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Ruston, La. October 20, 1894 and moved to El Dorado with his parents at an early age, living here most of the time since then.
Mr. Green was a member of the First Baptist Church, a veteran of World War I, member of the local American Legion Post and a Mason, member of El Dorado Lodge No. 13.
He was associated with Keeby's and the Crescent jewelry stores in Little Rock for a number of years and locally was connected with Bob Elliott and Sons for a long period of time.
Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Mary Harrison Green; and one daughter, Miss Mary Elizabeth Green; one son, Mangham Leonard Green; his father, Dr. John L. Green; El Dorado, and two sisters, Miss Murriel Green, El Dorado, and Mrs. Douglas Bird, Birmingham, Alabama.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. George Mosley officiating, assisted by the Rev. H. M. Green and the Rev. LeRoy Smith.
Active pallbearers will be; Bob Elliott, Homer Walton, Eschen Garrett, Burney Wilson, Caddie Kinard and A. R. Graves. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the First Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Arlington Cemetery with Hall-Chadwell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
