LOUIS H. HARDAMON
1930-2016

Louis Harvey Hardamon entered his heavenly home on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in Tomball, TX, at the age of 85. The Light of our Lives, our most beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle peacefully returned to the source of all love after a life most beautifully lived. His loyal devotion to his family and his generosity of spirit will remain forever in the hearts of all those he touched.
Louis was born in Flora, Louisiana, on July 11, 1930, and in later years moved to the Tomball area where he was employed by Campbell Ready Mix Company until his retirement. Having built the family home in the late 1950's, he also enjoyed woodworking, building birdhouses and wooden swings. His volunteer work with St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank also exemplified his generous and kind hearted nature. He loved being outdoors, fishing and deer hunting, and taking in the beautiful scenery of America's National Parks while on family vacations.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall A. and Evelyn Hardamon, and his siblings, Bobby and Dorothy Mac.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Ruth Hardamon; his son, Gary Hardamon and Jennifer; his daughter, Kathy Peacock and husband Bill; his daughter, Susan Chartrand; and his six grandchildren: Michelle Peacock, Joey Hardamon and wife Jackie, Matthew Peacock, Andrew Chartrand, Brian Hardamon, and Phillip Chartrand. He is also survived by his brothers, Lonnie and wife Gertrude, and Earl and wife Judy; His sister, Mary Helen Fagan; and Newton and Janie Lang, his dear brother-in-law and sister-in-law.
