Mrs. E. W. Maulding Passes Away

Died:Tuesday morning, December 8, at 3:50 o'clock at the home of her son, Lee Maulding, on Waelder highway near town, Mrs. E. W. Maulding, aged 74 years, 6 months and 5 days. Death was due to pneumonia.
Surviving her are five sons, V. H. Maulding, Ottine; J. H. San Antonio, H. W., Dallas; Robert, Kenedy; Lee Maulding of Gonzales; and one daughter. Mrs. W. H. Thorp of Clarksville. She also leaves 14 grandchildren.
Her husband preceded her to the great beyond 21 years ago.
With the exception of two or three years. Mrs. Maulding had made her home here since 1900 and had made many warm friends, who held her in high esteem as a noble Christian women.
She was a native of Halettsville. Her Christian life began years ago when she united with the Christian church.
The funeral was set for Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock with interment in the City Cemetery.
