Rev. A.L. Riter, aged 90, Pastor Emeritus at Church of the Saviour (United Methodist), passed away while an inpatient at a Cleveland area hospital. He was the beloved husband of Miriam A. (nee Youtz) for 54 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Anna (nee Sampson) Riter, daughter Nancy Brower and the following siblings: Thurman, Doris Thomas, and Bernard Riter. He is survived by three children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two siblings, and many nieces and nephews.
Rev. Riter spent 38 of his 44 years of ministry in the Cleveland-Akron areas. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Church of the Saviour, United Methodist, 2537 Lee Rd., Cleveland Heights, Ohio 44118.
