Oliver Johnson, 54, shot & killed his wife, Chloe Pearl, at Peoria yesterday, then killed himself.
Mrs. Johnson was the former Chloe Pearl Hampton & was married to Mr. Johnson in April, 1935.
Mr. Johnson was born June 2, 1899 in Wayne City, the son of James E. & Augusta Cates Johnson.
He is survived by two sons, Hobart & T. L.; two daghters, Rosa Lee & Shirlene; five brothers, Earl, Lyman, Everett, Ira, and Albert; four sisters, Nettie Barnett, Arla Gregory, Daisy Harrell, and Ina Meyers.
Richardson Chapel in Wayne City was in charge of arrangements.
