He was living in Topeka, KS in 1898 based on information in his brother David's obituary. His mother Rebecca died in 1886 and Daniel D. is mentioned on petition #2552. The 1900 census has 12 children and 10 living, the 1910 census has 12 children and 9 living. To the person that sent me some info about Daniel I did take notice of that obit. I have a copy of the cemetery record and it has his death date as 17 Oct 1904 and his street address is the same as what was in the obit. I also noticed about his name being David D. instead of Daniel D. and also the name of his daughter was the same in both. Apparently the newspaper (Topeka Daily Capital) had their information incorrect. I hope this helps in the confusion. According to the obit under David D. he died in the state hospital and the address used was Lincoln St. which was the street his daughter Mary Ann Bradley lived on the burial record. In 1900 census Daniel was in the insane asylum in Topeka. Some info was not correct but fits very well given all the other sources of info. Perhaps this is why his info has been such a mystery.
