Sherman - Graveside services for Rickey Dale Logan of Sherman, 48-year-old former car salesman, who died Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2004, at the Lindsey Cemetery in Randolph, Texas.
Neil Oliver of the First Baptist Church of Whitewright will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.
Rickey was born on February 29, 1956, in Sherman, the son of Weldon B. Logan and Geneva Ruth King Logan. He attended Sherman schools and owned a car lot on west Houston Street called Lakeside Motors. He also worked for Hitchcock Industries for 10 years and had been a dispatcher for Chapman Oil Co.
He is survived by a daughter, Kelly Thaten; a son, Rickey Dale Logan Jr.; brothers, Wesley Logan and Michael Edward Logan; sister, Patricia Logan; one grandchild, Jessie Thaten; and two nephews, Scott Brinkley and Jason Brinkley.
