FINDLAY FUNERAL SUNDAY
With ceremonies denoting the prominent place he held among the people of this city, the body of George Findlay will be laid to rest in the family lot in City Cemetery No. 1 at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
Mr. Findlay was one of the prominent contractors of this city and one of the most successful. He constructed some of the largest and the most beautiful buildings in the city. Among the buildings he constructed are the Hicks building, Moore building, Bonn Avon school, Central Christian church and many others in the city.
The funeral will take place from the late residence, 904 St. Charles street, conducted by Rev. Arthur G. Jones of the First Presbyterian church, and Rev. Brooke I. Dickey of the Westminster Presbyterian church.
Decedent is survived by his widow, a daughter, Miss Jean; two sons, James and Ivie B. and two grandsons, George and Robert B. Findlay.
