Danny Loyd Mundell passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 at the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 69. He was born December 11,1946 in Stigler, Oklahoma to Lloyd Vernon and Bertie Delma Callahan Mundell. Danny married Kay Mundell on January 6, 2000 in Gainesville, Texas. Danny was a truck driver and a diesel mechanic. He served in the Navy and served three tours in Vietnam. He was a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans. Danny is survived by his wife of the home, Kay Mundell; two daughters Shannon Ann McGrath and her husband Jared of Hartford, Kansas, and Cynthia Mundell of Florida. Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Two brothers, Rick Mundell of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma and Michael Mundell of Albert, Oklahoma; one sister in law Flori Mundell of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma and a host of friends. Danny was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Bertie Callahan Mundell. Services will be Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the Nazarene Church in Carnegie, Oklahoma with Rev. Jerry Tate officiating. Burial will follow at the Oney Cemetery in Albert, Oklahoma.
