Rittie Williams Shelton, daughter of W. P. and Emily Williams, was born July 20, 1899, died May 14, 1916; aged twenty-six years, nine months and twenty four days. She professed faith in Christ about seven years ago, and united with County Line Baptist Church and was baptized by Elder E. R. Steagall. She lived a consistent Christian life until called to the Great Beyond. She She was married to Charlie Shelton, November 21, 1915.
She leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, father, mother, three brothers and a host of friends. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. R. J. Tucker at the Kerley Cemetery, May 15, 1916.
