She was born Dec. 12, 1841, in Germany and received her education there, coming to America, directly to Clinton in 1866, where was married to Peter C Ingwersen in 1867. Later the couple engaged in farming near Oxford Junction, coming to Davenport in 1913. Her Husband preceded her in death on Nov 3, 1933. She was a member of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving are one son, Herman J Ingwersen , of Sioux Falls S.D.and one daughter Mrs. C. E. Leinbaugh of Davenport; three grandchildren are also surviving.
The body was removed to the Hill & Fredericks mortuary, where funeral services will be held at10:30 a.m. Sunday. Burial will be in the Oakdale Cemetery.
