Wayne E. Simpson, 75, Indianapolis, died Wednesday in Community Hospital. He worked 43 years for the Uniroyal Rubber Co. and retired in 1972. Born at Franklin, he lived in Indianapolis 60 years.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Shirley Brothers East Chapel, where friends may call from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. today.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Simpson; a son, Kenneth Simpson, and two daughter, Wilma Carmack and Carole “Susie” Moore.
