Wilma Lee Beavers, 82, a resident of Dover, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Stella Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.She was born September 16, 1933, at Russellville to John and Addie Laymon Harris. She was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God faith. She enjoyed reading, flower gardening and babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence David Beavers; a granddaughter, LaDonna Beavers; a brother; and six sisters.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Reggie Kolb and David and Pam Beavers, all of Dover; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Doug Petty of Dover; six grandchildren, David Beavers of Dover, Ricky McElroy of Dover, Tony Davis of Hollywood, California, Crystal Taylor of Dover, Stephanie Grant of Dover and Kayla Petty of Fayetteville; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016, at Pisgah Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Stella Manor Nursing Center for their care of Mrs. Beavers.
