Druscilla “Dru” A. Skinner, 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 17, 2016.

She was born in Vero Beach, FL to Ralph H. Hamilton and Edna L. Armstrong and was a lifelong resident of Indian River County.

She worked in many different capacities throughout her life. Many will remember her love of bowling and her many years of serving as secretary of the local bowling leagues.

During her later years she became passionate about family histories in the old Winter Beach area. She also became active in helping the Indian River County Public Library document historical photos.

She is survived by her two siblings: Paul Hamilton; wife Kathy and Tommy Hamilton; wife Darlene, two daughters: Shannon Skinner and Kari Skinner; husband Chris, and four grandchildren: Steven Tramel, Cody Skinner, Maci Augustine, and Lea Skinner.

A memorial service will be held at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, May 21st at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the VNA of the Treasure Coast. Online condolences may be made at www.coxgiffordseawinds.com
