He was born the son of Richard and Merle (Sipes) Sundquist.
Kenny married Carolee (Penington) Stegaall on Jaan. 4, 2003 in Abingdon, Ill.He was born the son of Richard and Merle (Sipes) Sundquist.

He is survived by his wife, Carolee; their children, Dawn(and Brian) Fossa of Albuquerque, N. M., Cari Shinn of Goodfield, Brandi Schleich of Peoria, Brad (and Trish) Stegall of Peoria, and Tyson (and Neili) of Peoria: one brother, Donald (and Janice) Sundquist of Galesburg; 11 grandchildren and two g-granddaughters.
Kenny was preceeded in death by his parents and a cousin who was raised in their home, Gary Sundell.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, having obtained an E-5 rank.
He had wworked at Butler Manufacturing in Galesburg. He currently worked as a machinist at Caterpillar. He was baptized at Northwoods Community Church in Peoria. His hobbies include flying airplanes, golfing, spending time with his family and his dog, Chloe. Military rites will be according. Cremation will follow the service.
