MORTON, IL - Agnes E. Craggs Slater, 85, of 150 Yordy Road, #226, formerly of Bath, who died at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 1996, at
her residence.
Born May 18, 1911, in East Peoria, Illinois to Andrew and Louise Hoffer Krumholz, she married Walter Craggs. He preceded her in death. She later married Lloyd A. Slater on March 20, 1981, in Center City, Minn. He died May 30, 1989.
She also was preceded in death by two sons, one sister and two brothers.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Hamann of East Peoria and Judith Bennett of Morton; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ambrose Krumholz and Henry Krumholz, both of East Peoria, Willis Krumholz of Bartonville and John of California.
Known as the "Doll Lady," she was an avid doll collector and also made many dolls.
Graveside services will be at Kilbourne Cemetery.
