Deaths and Funerals
Gilbert C. Hawk, age 28 years, passed away at a local hospital last night after an illness of four years. He is survived by his mother and brother, who live at 605 West Pikes Peak Avenue. Mr. Hawk had been a resident of this city most of his life. In 1917 he enlisted in the army and served until the armistice was signed. In returning home after his discharge he contracted influenza, from which he never recovered. He was a member of the First Christian Church of this city and was active in religious work. Funeral services will be held from the Law Chapel Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and will be conducted by the Rev. A.W. Luce. Interment Evergreen cemetery. (Law).
