Graveside services for Isabella Lake Edison, 79, Blackfoot, who died Wednesday in an Idaho Falls nursing home, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cloverdale Cemetery under the direction of the Sandberg-Hill Funeral Home, Blackfoot.
She was born Oct. 9, 1897, in Oxford, Idaho, and married John R. Edison, Feb. 11, 1918, in Caldwell. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He died in 1948.
She lived in Emmett from 1926 until 1941 when she moved to Everett, Wash. She later moved to Brigham City, Utah, until 1954 when she moved to Blackfoot. She married Frederick Clark Kesler, March 30, 1954. He died in 1961. She then married Marvin W. Elison, Dec. 15, 1965. They were later divorced.
She was a member of the LDS Church and served three missions in Mexico, Brigham City and the Southern States Mission in Georgia. She also served in several church auxiliaries and served as president of the Relief Society. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
Surviving are two sons, James David Edison, Twin Falls, and John Richard Edison Jr., Bountiful, Utah; two daughters, Mrs. Don S. (Erma Jane) Welch, Emmett, and Mrs. Eugene (Luella C.) Van Wagoner, Idaho Falls; 3 sisters, Rachel Lamb, Boise, Erma Bruner, and Lil Cherry, Ola, 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Willie Lee Edison.
